I have so many thoughts about what I saw while biking through Oregon and California. Since high school the environment has always been a major concern (religion) to me. I was proudly recycling bottles & cans back in 1972. Back then my Dad told me it was cheaper and easier to just throw them away, as […]
I biked this part of the California coast in 2005? or so? There’s not a lot of sunning type beaches, but the nature is awesome. I made is to Pfeiffer Big Sur State Park and $8 + tax beers.
I left Portland in July 2015 and moved to Slovenia, permanently I thought. My tenant left town and I rented my house from him for 3 weeks. I’m back in Portland now and A LOT has changed. Housing prices & rent have sky rocketed, marijuana is for sale all over town, the food carts are […]
My car vacation has come to an end, I’m dropping the car off and spending a couple days walking around Tirana. I spent several days here 3 years ago, visiting museums, monuments and markets. After my first couple hours of walking around I realized I didn’t leave enough time to thoroughly explore Tirana.
Sorry to my peeps, I’ve been busy moving from my apartment in Skofja Loka, Slovenia. I’ve been in America about a month. This is the first day of my 4-5 month bike tour of the Oregon & /California coasts. I have some free days to play blog catch up.
Sorry for the delay in posting, but Portland and my commitments ate me alive. I’m back now in Skofja Loka, Slovenia with my wife and couldn’t be happier. Since I’m now living in Skofja Loka, I had to return to America for a major house clearing. I had to sell everything I own, tools, vehicles, […]
The blog post about selling my American collection of stuff (shit) got a little long, so this is the part b to finish it. 5 weeks of digging out and getting ready to sell the American Dream. I really wanted my friends to get some of my stuff, but that said, I was now selling […]
I like my Blog to focus on bicycles and the positive contributions bikes can play in our lives. I had already ridden & written about the Kamnik Alps loop bike ride. MAP. I’ve been wanting to re-do the ride because of the nature and people this tour provides. Stanley wanted to visit Slovenia, so this was the […]
Since leaving America in 2013, I had been renting my house a year at a time, thinking I was going to move back in. I had my office, clothes and bed in the basement. I’m here now to sell everything I own, except a few personal possessions like art, clothes and my priceless rock collection. […]
I have lived & worked in America for 57 years. I had a few jobs as a teenager, but mostly I’ve been self-employed running several different business’s. I feel my experience in business and life in America, gives me some insights to the opportunities & struggles of living in America. I’m asked all the […]
